Upcoming Event: Dispelling Myths Surrounding the Vision Health of Older People
On May 28, 2019, Dr. Chad Andrews, Senior Manager of Research and Education at Fighting Blindness Canada, will be taking part in Dispelling Myths Surrounding the Vision of Older People, an interdisciplinary panel discussion hosted by the International Federation on Ageing.
This free event, which is open to the public, will feature a panel of internationally renowned experts in aging and vision health addressing misconceptions in vision health knowledge and services across the country, and will highlight the importance of equitable access to safe and effective eye screenings for all Canadians—and specifically those most at risk of developing blinding eye diseases.
