L’Occitane en Provence Supports Sight-Saving Research

L’Occitane En Provence supports Fighting Blindness Canada

June 21st is Yellow Day at L’Occitane en Provence!

To celebrate the 2nd annual Yellow Day – and the first day of summer! – L’Occitane en Provence will donate ten percent of its Canadian sales to Fighting Blindness Canada (FBC).

Through L’Occitane Foundation’s “UNION FOR VISION 10by20” program, L’Occitane en Provence set a goal to reach 10 million eye care beneficiaries by 2020. Working with charities like Fighting Blindness Canada enables L’Occitane en Provence to give back to its communities in a meaningful way and work towards achieving this goal.

On Yellow Day, L’Occitane en Provence will not only donate ten percent of its Canadian sales to Fighting Blindness Canada, but will also collect individual donations from customers who want to support FBC.

L’Occitane presents FBC’s CEO Doug Earle with a cheque for $29,650 for Vision Care Pathways. Standing from left to right: Saba Schwartz, Keishera Davis, and Doug Earle.

This is the second year that FBC will be a beneficiary of Yellow Day, but we also have a longstanding partnership with L’Occitane en Provence. L’Occitane en Provence is a valued sponsor of FBC’s Vision Care Pathways, which provide in-depth information and resources for a range of blinding eye diseases. In May, L’Occitane en Provence generously donated $29,000 to FBC’s Vision Care Pathways project – funding that will help us further develop our educational resources for blinding eye diseases that affect millions of Canadians.

So on June 21st, visit our friends in-store at L’Occitane en Provence to help support sight-saving research and education!
